'Tis the season...

... the bakery has been in full-swing after a lovely little time away. We'd sure love to relocate to the North Conway, NH area... nothing like us up there! This thought has our brain mixers churning... Delightful!

Lots of things in motion for today... A 4 layer gingerbread cake for Tomatoes in Sandwich tonight -- delicious with tangy cream cheese frosting; A fun treasure-chest cake for a sweet little boy who is turning 3 tomorrow... cookies for Heart of Stone... a carrot cake for one of our favorite/best customers...

*phew... I think I'd better get started...

Hello everybody! I feel like I just said that like Miss Piggy ... lol! Sorry, we just saw the Muppet movie last weekend and I can't get that out of my mind =)

We are taking a MUCH needed vacation beginning today at noon -- haven't had one in nearly 7 years! So looking forward to it!!!

The bakery will be closed until Monday, December 5th, but we'll return in full-force and ready to take your orders! So keep 'em coming!

Between work, the bakery and life in general, things have been super busy here! Hope you are all having a wonderful Fall ... staying safe and warm and are as excited as I am for the holiday season coming up!

Almost a month has passed?

... holy guacamole. It's been a busy month but no excuses!!! I've been a busy girl between working, the bakery, daughter's activities, family commitments and more... but new and exciting things at the bakery! Fiddlestix Trolley, a gourmet food trolley out of Sandwich, Ma has invited us to make our famous cake-pops for them! This weekend it will be at the Harvest Festival in Harwich, MA. We'll have our famous cinnamon spice pops dipped in white or milk chocolate. Delicious!

New and super fun cookies for the Fall, too. Apples, leaves and witch hats and more!

And a very sad farewell to my beloved cat, Baby, who at 18 years of age, died in my arms on 9/10/11 at 7:30 p.m. I am devastated and this is a HUGE loss. I know she lived a happy and lovely life with me and is now free of pain and waiting for me on the Rainbow Bridge.

Falmouth Friday's...

This Friday, August 19th, come down to the Falmouth marina in Falmouth, MA to visit a really nice, small craft show -- and come meet me! Isabella's Bakery will be featuring some really neat things -- tons of cake pops in all flavors (yellow, chocolate, chocolate/raspberry, carrot and more) with new shapes and styles... little gifts like a tin pail decorated with flags, filled with flag-shaped star cookies (what a perfect hostess gift!), flower tins, bags of lego cookies and more! Do you have a child who LOVES Phineas and Ferb or Spongebob? Come check out our newest cookies!

It seems these little babies are more popular than we thought -- !!! We had a show on Friday at Falmouth Friday's at Marina Park/Scranton Ave, Falmouth -- awesome to see you all! Were you there?

I brought 80 cake pops, along with delicious cookies and just about all 80 pops were gone by 4 (and all the lobster cookies were gone by 9:45 -- we opened at 10!). Awsesome and THANK YOU!

I will most definitely be doing one more of these fabulous shows -- likely to be 8/19. Come on down to see me! I'll have some new flavors and some other new goodies -- you really should come! The marina is lovely on a hot day...

Long time... so sorry!

We have been so busy here at Isabella's... between gift baskets and shows and just Summer, in general -- no excuses, though. Thank you my faithful readers for your patience! This little fun side business has turned into something more than we could ever imagine and it's you that I thank! =)

Had our first show at Falmouth Friday's at Marina Park in Falmouth this past Friday -- such fun! Met some wonderful people, like the ladies at Molly's Appothecary (check 'em out -- go ahead and google them or Facebook them!) and Elisa at Swirls Jewelry (check her out, too... amazing!) ... so completely thankful for all the tips and laughs. I can't wait to do another show on the 29th!

So, from the cake orders, cookie orders and cookies... phew! Busy! Going to enjoy a little glass of wine and hit the sack to dream of sugar and flour!

Hanover Days

You'll get to meet me, the creator of Isabella's Bakery and my good friend, Jessica from Daily Deals for Mom's ... expecting thousands to attend this event -- plenty to do for everyone, food, music and good times! And cookies! You know you'd love to have a cookie!

... this fun cake was created for a sweet little boy turning 4 -- so much fun to make! It was our homemade yellow cake with a skim of buttercream icing -- then green butter cream icing stars covered the entire beast... with dark green fondant used for his prickly spine.

Wouldn't your little boy (or girl!) love this cake? At only $55.00, what a bargain! And such a crowd-pleaser!
